Through Her

It’s her, not me, but it could be both

Living through that fear, together

Ready, waiting and primed, though never enough

She braces, I brace, we all embrace

Making the most of a one off, for the better

She is nervous, not me, but it could be both

Ready and waiting for a day never to forget

The wrong way, the wrong time, the right place

Once removed and forever gone

A test of resolve, calm and also togetherness
