The Moral Of The Story Is?

There’s a river. Hovering 6 inches above that river is a fly. In that river there’s a salmon. The salmon is looking up at the fly and thinking, “if that fly comes down 6 inches I’m going to jump up and eat him for my dinner”

On the river bank, there’s a bear, and he’s surveying the scene. He’s thinking, “if that fly comes down 6 inches, the salmon is going to jump up and eat the fly and I’ll jump in and eat the salmon for my dinner”

On the other side of the river stands a huntsman. He’s looking down the barrel of his rifle and he’s thinking, “if that fly comes down 6 inches, the salmon’s going to jump up and eat the fly, the bear’s going to run in and catch that salmon and I’m going to shoot that bear right in his temple and eat him for my dinner.

Behind the huntsman there’s a mouse, and he’s really quite clever. He’s sitting there thinking, “if that fly comes down 6 inches, the salmon will jump up and eat the fly the bear will run in to eat the salmon and that huntsman will jump out to shoot the bear, and when he does that, I’ll jump into his lunch box and eat his cheese sandwiches for my dinner!”

Behind the mouse lies a cat. He’s ready to pounce and he’s thinking, “if that fly comes down 6 inches, the salmon’s going to jump up and eat the fly, the bear’s going to run in and eat the salmon, the huntsman will run out to shoot the bear, that mouse will try to eat the cheese sandwiches and I’ll run out and get that mouse and eat him for my dinner.

Sooooooooooo, what happens?????

The fly comes down 6 inches, the salmon jumps up to eat the fly, the huntsman runs out to shoot the bear, the mouse runs in to eat the cheese sandwiches, and the cat? Well the cat jumps on top of the mouse and misses, flying straight into the river.

And the moral of this story?

Whenever a fly comes down 6 inches, there’s always a wet poosie!  🙂
